Most students usually have to take out some sort of college student loans to help pay for college. I didn’t… but I guess I’m just a bad ass (just kidding… I worked hard to get as many scholarships as I could).
My fiance also went through undergrad college with scholarships paying for 100% of college… but, now she’s in graduate school… and student loans are the only way we have to foot the $60,000 bill for 2 years worth of graduate school.
Before I applied for any student loans for my fiance, I did a ton of research to find the best student loan programs.
You wouldn’t imagine the shady student loan companies I came across in my search. What I later found out though, is that the majority of websites pushing student loans, were simply lead generation websites… not the actual lender.
So, in this section I’ll go over a few things to look for including:
- How to find good student loan programs
- What a good student loan rate is
- How to get a lower student loan rate
- Which banks have great student loan programs
… and more.
